Our Christmas

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve we went up to my Grammy's house. We always have pizza for dinner and everyone reads a Christmas book. After that we came home and the kids opened up there new Christmas jammies.

Then it was off to bed for Santa to come. Abbi had a hard time going to sleep, I think she was so excited that she made her tummy upset. Finally it took me to sit down with her for 10 minutes and rock her to sleep. Carson got up once but finally settled down.

Christmas morning the kids woke us up at 8:30. It was nice to be able to sleep in a little. The kids were so excited about all the fun things Santa brought. We had a good Christmas.

Trip on the Polar Express

Last night we surprised the kids and took them on the Polar Express to the North Pole. We told them we were going to the mountains to build a snowman. We pulled into the train station and we told them we were lost and that we should go in the station to find out where we were. As we walked by the train they kept asking "are we going to get on a train?" I just said "Do you want to? " After a couple of times of them asking I said "OK lets get on!" Carson and Abbi were so excited as we boarded the Polar Express.

On our trip to the North Pole they served Hot Chocolate and Cookies, Read the book Polar Express, and had a Christmas Carol sing along. The best part of the trip was seeing Mr. and Mrs Clause. First the kids saw Mrs. Clause and thought that was pretty neat. Abbi said " I never seen her before" Then Santa came into our train car. All the kids on the train shouted SANTA and were all so excited. Santa gave all the kids a sleigh bell from the reindeer's harness and talked to each one of them.

If you haven't been you should take your kids at least once.

BRRRR Its Snowing!

The kids were so excited to bundle up and go play in the snow. They rode the sled down our back porch stairs, made snow angels, and threw snowballs. When Abbi came in she said that she was as cold as the snow outside. Its to cold for me, I had to watch out the window all bundled up in a blanket.

Happy Birthday Carson!

I can't believe that you are already 9 years old. You have grown so fast, it seems like not to long ago we brought you into this world on a snowy Thursday night. I didn't feel you move all night the night before you were born and all morning. I called Dr. Farley and he asked me to come in so they could check on you. Mom left work thinking I would just come back, go in for a routine checkup. Little did I know that after the ultrasound everything looked good, but Dr. Farley wanted to bring you into this world. Mom was so scared and excited at the same time. Dad meet me at LDS hospital because mom was in such a hurry I didn't want to wait for Dad to come home and get me. On December 2, 1999 Carson Dean Weaver was born at 10:23pm weighing in at 8lbs 3oz 21in long. We are so grateful to have you as our son. You are growing up to be such a wonderful young man. We love you so much! Hope you have a Wonderful Birthday. Love, Mom, Dad, and Abbi

November in Review

I can't believe its December already. Not alot has happened in November for us. Jaime and I are just working hard at our jobs and raising 2 adventurous children. Carson is enjoying school, and his friends. I went to his parent teacher confrences a couple of weeks ago and his teachers had nothing but good things to say about him. We are so proud of him. Abbi is enjoying playing at her friends house, hanging out with Great Grama and Grampa Weaver, and occasionally going to work with mom. Abbi had her Christmas Dance recitle last week and she danced her little heart out. She starts this week in a new class and new teacher and is super excited about it. I am so Thankful for my husband and kids, they are the world to me.

We traveled to Idaho to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Dad and Peni, Mom, Allison and her family, Amy and her family, Mike, Kevin, Danielle, Lauren, Aaron, Christian, and all the grandkids. It was so nice to have all of us together. (Alexis and Ashley we missed you!) I asked my kids what they were thankful for this year and Abbi said her family, bunny and her bed, Carson said his family, friends, and his PSP. Here are a few pictures of our Thanksgiving. We enjoyed spending time with the family.

On Friday we took all the kids bowling, they had so much fun.

That night after spending the day with the kids my sisters and I went and saw Twilight. Don't know what to say other than its such a good movie, and if you haven't gone to see it you should.

We had a good November and looking forward to December and Christmas.

Fall Soccer Season Has Begun

Both the kids are playing soccer this year. Its Abbi's first year and still a little iffy on the whole idea of running and kicking a ball. Once she starts playing she has fun. (She dosen't like to admit it) Her team is the PURPLE BUTTERFLIES, they all look so cute in their purple uniforms.

This year will be Carson's fourth year and is enjoying it more than ever. This year his team is a little more competitive and playing is more serious with a ref. Carson was suprised, he is so excited to be back on the playing field. They call their team the BLUE COURGARS. (Coach must be a BYU fan)

Fun at the Fair

Sunday we took the kids to the Utah State Fair. Brandy, Brenda, Riley, Ryan and Kelli went with us. It was so fun being able to hang out with them. The kids had so much fun. Abbi said that the cows were really stinky, Carson said the Home Craft exhibit was driving him nuts. Abbi's favorite part was riding the pony and seeing all the bunnys. Carson's favorite part was the big yellow slide that we all went down. All in all we had a very enjoyable time with our family. Here are some pictures of our exciting day at the fair.

NERDS

We went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D yesterday. So the kids got these 3D glasses to watch the movie. Now they just think they are pretty cool to wear. I have to laugh everytime I see them, they look so cute and so nerdy at the same time.

Tagged!

Angie TAGGED me and I haven't done this before. So here is my best shot at it.

The Rules:
• Link the person(s) who tagged you.
• Mention the rules on your blog.
• Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
• Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them.
• Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they have been tagged!

1 - Well just like Angie I too have a very hard time picking out which movie to watch. If I remember seeing it, then I can't watch it.

2 - I twirl my hair when I'm thinking, tired, or bored. Don't know why, just a habit I picked up and can't seem to stop.

3 - I LOVE to watch the Disney channel with my kids.

4 - I would rather do yard work that house work.

5 - I take one of Abbi's stuffed animals with me when I go out of town to sleep with. Kinda funny, but if feels like I have a little of home with me.

6 - I love the smell of new plastic and books. Weird I know.

I TAG Brenda, Kim Garner, Connie, Libby, Lynn, and Allison

First Day of 3rd Grade

Wow! I can't believe I have a 3rd grader. It seems like only yesterday he was just a baby. Carson got up early Monday morning and was ready just in time to go to school. He was a little nervous when we got to the school but as soon as he found his friends he fell right back into the school scene. Carson has 2 teachers this year, Miss Doxey, and Mrs. Dolling. He is so excited to have 2 cool teachers and to get back to learning. He's not to excited about having to learn cursive this year though. This morning Carson asked me what he should be when he grew up. I told him that he can be whatever he wanted. So he goes on to tell me that he wants to take care of the animals at the zoo. He says "I want to help train the orangutans". I told him if that what he want to do then go for it. Kids say the cutest things!

Day at the Zoo.

This summer has flown by and I haven't been able to spend alot of time with the kids.I was in Charlotte, NC last weekend and leaving again tomorrow for Tulsa, OK, so today I took the day off work so I could spend the day with the kids. We decided to go to the zoo for the day. We pack a picnic and set off to the Hogle Zoo. The kids were so excited to see all the animals at the zoo. Abbi's favorite part of the zoo was the carousel and the train. We saved them for very last. Carson loved the Ghost of the Bayou. A rare white crocodile. Carson was the photographer at the zoo, I think he got a picture of everything we saw. We had so much fun, I sure enjoy these moments I get to play and be with my kids.

Month in Review

I can't believe it been over a month since I last posted! Wow how time flies. The kids are enjoying their summer swimming and playing at Grammy's house. The kids and I went to Idaho to see everyone over the 4th of July weekend. We spent time with cousins swimming, and playing. We even went to a small town rodeo in Oregon. We had a good time. Jaime is loving his new job. Its alot of work and tons of hours but he is enjoying every minute of it. I just got back from Chicago for CHA Summer. We had a great show and had lots of fun with all the Rusty Pickle girls. For Pioneer day we went to the local parade and fireworks last night. Today we took the kids to the Bountiful Carnival, the kids ate snow cones, bear claws, and played on the rides. We went to Grammys house and let the kids swim again, they can never get enough water. All in all we are having a busy but great summer, and try to spend as much time with the kids as we can. I have such great kids. I will post summer pictures a little bit later. Hope everyone is having a great summer. Just a month and school is back in session. Enjoy it while you can!
