Carson Is 10!

Wednesday was Carson's 10th Birthday. I can't believe that my little boy is already 10. It seems like not to long ago the nurse put him in my arms for the first time and I knew I had a special boy. Carson is the life of the party at our house. He is always doing or saying something silly to make us laugh. He can always put a smile on our faces. We Love you Carson!!

Weaver family tradition is to go bowling on Thanksgiving evening after dinner. The kids look forward to go all day long. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

On Thanksgiving day I asked the kids what they were thankful for.

Family Fall Fun!

We had a great Halloween weekend. We started off Thursday night with a trip to Black Island Farms with Carson's scout group. The kids had so much fun running through the corn maze, playing on the slides, and in a big bouncy pumpkin.

Abbi posing like she always does in front of a pile of hay bales.

Friday night we carved Pumpkins with the kids. Abbi loved taking out "all the guts" as she would say. Carson was a little more hesitant to dig in but after Abbi didn't mind it he thought it was OK. Who knew that a boy would be more disgusted than a girl.

Saturday morning we did some much needed yard clean up. We have 3 hugh trees in our back yard so we had tons of leaves to pick up. The kids were so good about helping. Maybe is was because I told them they couldn't go trick or treating if it didn't get done. They couldn't help but play a little in the leaves! After 2 full garbage cans and 8 bags full of leaves we were done. Well for at least a week.

Now it was time for Trick or Treating!! We of course couldn't keep up with them from house to house. The kids had a blast and now we have way too much candy around our house!!

It was a great weekend! I enjoy each and every moment I spend with my family.

Last Trip of the Year!!

This past weekend I went to Minnesota for my last trip of the year. I am so glad to have a few months off from traveling. Charles M. Schulz is from Minnesota and in Downtown St. Paul there is all these statues of Peanuts kids. Kim and I visited the cutest little candy shop called Candyland. (well it was in the dark and the shop was closed but we got some cute pictures)

On saturday we went to the Mall of America with Angela and Mary Ann, my 2 new friends! We had lots of laughs and I enjoyed the fun times we spent together. Thanks Angela, Kim, and Mary Ann for a great weekend!!

Fall Soccer Season has Come and Gone

The kids played soccer again this year and both really enjoyed it. Carson has played for 6 years now and is improving with every game. I love to see him out there on the field playing his heart out. His favorite position to play is defender and he is so good at it.

This year is Abbi's second year and she love to be out there playing. Well when she's not playing on the field with her little friend Berkley. Her very first game Abbi scored a goal for her team. We are so proud of her.

School starts tomorrow.

This summer has flown by and now its time for school to start already. I am have mixed feelings about the kids starting school tomorrow.

I am not too worried about Carson, I always get nervous for him, will he be a good student? Will he have friends? Will he learn and grow like he needs to? I guess deep down I know he will be fine but as a mom I always have these worries and feelings.

I haven't wanted to face the fact that Abbi is now a Kindergartner. I am happy for her and I know she needs to grow and learn but she is my baby! I thought I had more time but the past 5 years has flown by. I know I have to let her go but this is so hard for me. My baby is growing up!

Our Last Official Summer Camping Trip

Last weekend we met my sisters (Allison and Alexis) and my Dad in Hagerman Idaho for a fun camping weekend. The campsite was right by the snake river and was in a beautiful setting for a fun weekend with my family.

We went to the Fish Hatchery and did a little Fishing.

Date Night with the Kids.

At least once a month we try to take the kids out to do something. Saturday we took the kids to Dinner at Fazolis and then to Cherry Hills to play miniature golf. The kids have never played and had so much fun. Surprisingly they were really good.

After our game we took the kids for ice cream and drove around and showed the kids all the places we use to live. They were so interested in seeing and listening to our story before they were born. We had so much fun spending this time with the kids. We get caught up in our everyday lives its so nice to take a step away from home and do fun stuff with the kids!

24th of July

Here in Utah the 24th of July almost seems like a bigger holiday than the 4th. We had a fun day. In the morning everyone met at IHop for breakfast. Then we went to the Bountiful Carnival. The kids and Jaime had fun playing in the park and on all the toys.

Weeeee down the slide!

After spending a few hours at the park we went to Grammys house to swim.
