Family Trip to St. George

A weekend ago we took a short trip down to St. George for Abbi's first Dance Competition and a long overdue mini family vacation. We drove down Thursday night and checked in the hotel about 9:00pm. The kids were so excited to stay in a hotel. First we did was took the kids to the pool to swim.

Friday morning we relaxed and hung out in the hotel room, and then we had to get Abbi ready for her big debut on the Competition Stage.

Abbi got to wear makeup for the first time, She didn't like the eyeliner and mascara but once it was on she loved it.

She danced so good and she had so much fun. We are so proud of her!!

Saturday we got up and went to Breakfest at IHOP and then headed to Zions National Park.
On the way into Springdale the kids saw this shop selling Rocks, and If you know my kids at all you would know they both are completely facinated with Rocks.

They are in complete Rock Heaven!!

We hopped on the Shuttle into Zions and started our Journey. It was Amazing! We all enjoyed our day at Zions.

These are only a few of the pictures but we enjoyed every minute of it!!

Busy Busy Busy

We have been busy with our normal daily routines.

School, Dance, Scouts, Work, Homework, Dinner, Reading, and Bedtime.

Sometimes I think to myself and wonder, is there really more to life then this?

But then I step back and look at the big picture, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Movie Night

Saturday's are Movie Nights at our House, and you can't watch a movie without Popcorn.
Tonight was was no different except Abbi with her 3D glasses (movie was not in 3D), and a swimsuit (I think it actually snowed this day).

What Can I Say???

When a girl puts her mind to something you cannot change it!

Candlelight Dinner for 4

On Valentines Day I wanted to make dinner special, and with kids it needed to be a family affair.
The kids are not use to eating off real plates (paper plates are the usual) and fancy cups so they LOVED it.

Love you guys with all my heart!!

Suprise!! Monster Trucks

For Valentines Day we suprised the kids and took them to see the Monster Trucks. The kids had so much fun cheering on their favorites.

Carson's Favorite - Monster Mutt

Abbi's Favorite - Madusa

Our Boy Scout

Carson is in Scouts for the first time this year and has enjoyed every minute of it. About a month ago Carson has his 1st Pine Wood Derby and had such a great time making his car and racing against all the other scouts. He actually did really well for his first year.

To Be Better

I have been thinking about New Year Resolutions a lot this month. I usually don't make them and I am not going to now. Instead I am going to make a Goal for myself and that is TO BE BETTER.

Become a BETTER Person that I am comfortable with.
Be BETTER at helping others.
Have a BETTER relationship with my MOM
Be BETTER about spending time with my kids
Be BETTER at telling the people in my life just how much I Love and Appreciate them
Be BETTER with money
Be BETTER at knowing that its the small things that really count

Just BE BETTER....

December Recap (took me a week to finally get this posted)

December was a Busy, Crazy, Fun, Enjoyable month for us, here is our month in review. (Warning Big Post)

Christmas Dance Recital

Abbi she has become such a good little dancer, we are so proud of her.

Weekend with the Kershaw's

When I was younger it was our family tradition to go to dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory and then go see the lights in Temple square. I was so happy that my sister and her family came down for the weekend so we could carry on that tradition.

Temple Square

Gingerbread House and Baking Cookies

The kids love to put together a gingerbread house every year. We never eat it but it gives the kids something to do and it makes a cute decoration for Christmas.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Jaime's Family. It has been a Weaver Family Tradition to read Christmas books and this year was no different. Everyone from youngest to oldest reads a book they choose. Of course Jaime and most of his brothers choose the books with 6 pages and 5 words on each page but it has been one tradition I look forward to every year.

Christmas Jaimmies

Christmas Morning

The kids got up around 7:30am

Santa brought Carson a new bike, Legos, Clothes, and Utah Utes stuff.

Santa brought Abbi an American Girl Bitty Baby, clothes, Easel and crayon and paper to draw with.

The rest of Christmas Day we spent visiting family. We had a wonderful Christmas.

The kids and I went to Idaho for a few days to see my mom before she moved to South Dakota. We enjoyed visiting with my family and the kids enjoyed playing with cousins.
