May in Review

So I just realized I have't posted in over a month. Sometimes life just gets the best of me!

I traveled 3 out of the 4 weekends in May and sure am glad I am home for a while. I have been to Detriot, Orlando and Buffalo. All were great but nothing beats Niagara Falls. My friend and I got to spend a extra day in Buffalo after work was all done. We spent the day and went to Niagara Falls and even went to Canada! When I told Carson that I spent the day in Canada he asked "did you get some canadian bacon?" Too funny! We had so much fun! It was the perfect ending to a month of traveling.

Jaime and I had our 10 year anniversary. WOW! Has it really been 10 years? We haven't done anything since I have been out of town, but we will find some way to celebrate sometime soon!I love you Jaime and can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings! Just don't let it come to fast!



Carson is out of school for the summer and so excited. He misses his teachers and friends already, but is happy for summer to be here. If only it would stop raining!! I went on Carson's last field trip with him to the Natural History Museum. I had alot of fun watching him with his friends. Carson is such a good kid and is still the family clown!



Abbi is ready for school and can't wait for the summer to be over so she can go to Bubba's school. Abbi just had her 4th dance recitle and danced her little heart out. Jaime and Carson were ready to go after she danced but Abbi insisted on staying to watch the bigger girls dance. She told me that when she gets bigger she wants to dance like they do.

Bunnies!!

Tonight when I came home from work I found these in my living room. Grammy (MIL) got bunnies for both Carson and Abbi. Not just one for them to share. They both have one.



The kids are so happy and totally in LOVE with their new pets. Thanks Grammy!

Abbi's heart is broken over a fish!

Against my wishes Abbi got a fish for Easter. I knew that fish don't last long yet Jaime wanted her to have her own pet. Tonight when we got home Abbi went to her room to change out of her soccer uniform while I made dinner.(yes I did make dinner tonight YAY for me!)I heard Abbi crying and I knew immediately why. She came downstairs with Hugh tears in her eyes.My little girls heart is broken over a fish!

Abbi: My fishy died mommy!!
Abbi: Why did it die?
Mom: Well we don't know why, maybe she was sick or missed her friends at the store.
Abbi: What are we going to do with her?
Mom: Well why don't we flush it down the toilet
Abbi: Why?
Mom: That's the way to fishy heaven
Abbi: Fishys go to heaven
Mom: Sure they do, there is a heaven for everyone even pets
Abbi: Will she be happy in fishy heaven?
Mom: Yes she will and she will have friends too
Abbi: OK mommy. But I'm still sad about my fishy
Mom: I know but we can go get another one this weekend

I think Walmart will make lots of money from us with Abbi's fascination for fish. We will see how long the next one lasts. Hopefully longer than 2 1/2 days. Any ideas on what fish to get that will last longer in a gallon fish tank?

Its been 5 years and yet it seems like only yesterday you were born into our family.



March 23, 2004 at 6:30am we got a call from the hospital asking if we could come in to have you. We were so excited and told the hospital that we would be there in a half hour. We got Carson up and took him to Grammy's house and headed to the hospital. After We got all checked in, they started my medicine around 7:45am. Dad and Mom talked about how happy we were to have another baby. Around 9am mom was in so much pain that I yelled at dad to go find a nurse so I could have my epidural. They gave me my epidural but just enough to push twice and you were born at 9:15am. You came out eyes wide open ready to see the world. Mom and Dad were so excited to have a baby girl.



Abbi you are such a sweet girl and bring so much happiness to our family.

Sometimes life has a way of consuming my life and I take what I have for granted. But tonight I am feeling very Lucky and Blessed for:

My Family


Tonight I got home late from work but wanted to make dinner for my family. I was trying to think of something fast without it being a microwave something. So I decided to make GREEN Pancakes for St. Patricks Day. The kids Loved them and ate them right up. Jaime on the other hand couldn't bring himself to eat a green pancake.

The other night Abbi was playing dress up and Jaime walked in her room to see what she was doing. Abbi decided that Daddy needed to play dress up too! Jaime you are such a good sport to let your daughter dress you up!

Playing Catch Up!

Well I haven't posted for a while so here is what we have been up to. January started and its back to reality after Christmas.

Carson went back to school after a long 2 weeks off. He loves school, he comes home with these new long words that he learns. For example: Fossil nossil e hil pufacation and anti disestablishment tarism anyone know what they mean? I sure don't! He really enjoys school and loves going every day. I don't remember loving it that much! It sure makes me happy to know that he enjoys it.



Abbi is dancing her little heart out at dance and loves playing with her friends. I really need to get her back into school, but keep procrastinating because I have to find a preschool/daycare and I am really nervous about it. I have looked at a couple around here and I am pretty sure where I want to take her. I just need to do it. She asks me everyday when she can go to school. This girl sure loves to dress up in everything and anything. Her favorite is swimsuits in the dead of winter. I have one silly but darling little girl.



Jaime and I are just working hard, raising our beautiful family and are happy as can be. I don't tell him enough how much I love and appriciate everything he does for our family. He is a wonderful father, hard worker and a fantastic husband. Love You Jaime!

I got back last week from a week in California for Winter CHA. It was rainy and cold everyday except the last day we were there. California must of known that it was my birthday so decided to warm up. Thanks California! We went to dinner and Newport beach after the show and teardown. It was very nice just to relax and play at the beach.







It was good to get away but even better to come home to my family.

My 30th Birthday

I really don't feel it but as of last week I am 30 years old! I was out of town for my birthday so last friday night Jaime took the kids got dinner and a I asked for a cake but instead the kids picked out this big chocolate chip cookie for me. It was actually really good.

Thats the best present I could ever ask for is just to spend time with my family.

Jaime and the kids got me new dishes for my birthday. WOW! I wasn't expecting anything and they suprised me with new dishes. Now you wonder why I am so excited for new dishes? I have had the same dishes for the last 9 or so years. I have been looking and found the ones I wanted just thinking sometime maybe I will get them. Thanks to my wonderful husband and kids.
