We had a good Easter.? The kids woke up and were so excited.? We told them that since it was Abbi's birthday we were going to do things a little different.? We had breakfest and then made the kids go into there rooms.? Jaime and I hid Easter eggs through the house and put out their Easter baskets.? The kids loved it.? They had so much fun looking for eggs.?

Abbi turned 4 on Sunday as well.? Wow I can't believe she has grown so big so fast.? We had Jaime's family over for lunch, cake and ice cream.? I decided that she didn't need any more toys, so we got her all outside toys, and a couple of books.? We got her a scooter and gardening tools to help plant this summer.? Since she had to spend her with Easter we made her a bunny cake and she thought it was the best cake she's ever seen.?

First Spring Battle Wound

It was so nice outside yesterday, the kids played outside for a couple of hours until this happened. Abbi came in the door with her face all bloody and crying hysterically. Carson was pulling her behind her bike in a small wagon and she decided to get out. So instead of asking Carson to stop, she stood up and fell. This is her first fat lip of the spring season. I am sure there will be more battle wounds to come.

Dad Came to Visit

Dad and Lauren came and spent the weekend with us. Friday night we just visited for a while and went to bed. We were all tired. Saturday we slept in, and relaxed. Saturday afternoon we went and walked around the Gateway Mall and then went to dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. Then we came home and watched movies. It was nice to have you here for the weekend, we really enjoyed it.

So I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time, but have never done it. Well today is the day. My house is clean, the kids are playing, Jaime is on his computer and I have decided to do it. I am still learning so bear with me as I play with our family blog.
